In 2006, Matt Thomas started Townshend's Tea Company with the idea of serving great teas in a casual teahouse setting. He began making kombucha in the basement of his first teahouse using the same great teas that they served to their guests. The drink was so popular amongst their customers that they decided to bottle it, giving it the name Brew Dr. Kombucha.
Each batch is carefully created, starting with high-quality, loose leaf organic teas blended in with organic herbs, fruits, juices, or other botanicals. The process is followed for each batch to offer its drinkers a raw, authentic kombucha at its tastiest.

RECIPE: PINEAPPLE GUAVA KOMBUCHA SMOOTHIE
INGREDIENTS
1/2 bottle Brew Dr. Pineapple Guava Kombucha
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup coconut water
1/2 cup frozen mango (or pineapple)
Cinnamon for garnish
Optional: a splash of rum
INSTRUCTIONS
Using a blender, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth
Sprinkle with cinnamon to garnish (optional)
